Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team of CM specialists.
  • Provide configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of highly complex information systems as well as component software and hardware items.
  • Facilitate and advise Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)
  • Maintain allocated, functional, and physical baseline control and perform audit support.
  • Review engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements.
  • Maintain configuration control records and technical documents.
  • Work closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure accurate and well-documented product baseline.
  • Prepare directives for change authorization and implementation.
  • Establish and maintain a system to record modifications to hardware, software, or documentation.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure changes to software are properly implemented and tracked.
  • Develop and maintain configuration management procedures and documentation.
  • Participate in configuration management reviews and audits.
  • Stay up to date on industry standards and best practices for configuration management.

  • Five (5) years relevant experience
  • Certifications:
    • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level II
      • CAP
      • CASP+ CE
      • CISM
      • CISSP (or Associate)
      • CCISO
      • GSLC
      • HCISPP
    • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
  • Clearance: Must possess a Secret clearance and be eligible for an IT II
